Mcafee Endpoint Security 10.6.1 Download

  1. McAfee Endpoint Security speeds threat de-tection and remediation with antimalware, fast scanning, instant threat detection and updates, and maximized CPU performance.
  2. You must manually update your McAfee ePO server with the latest AMCore and Exploit Prevention content files required for Endpoint Security. (The AMCore files include Adaptive Threat Protection content, if needed.).
  3. To Endpoint Security 10.6. Then download the software and run the installation wizard. Specify whether to save custom settings. By default, the settings are saved. See also Products that you can upgrade on page 7. McAfee Endpoint Security 10.6.0 - Installation Guide 5.

Security

The Endpoint Security packages are checked in to the Master Repository on your McAfee ePO server.

Task

  1. In McAfee ePO, select Menu → Automation → Server Tasks to open the Server Tasks catalog.
  2. Edit the Update Master Repository server task.
  3. Click the Actions tab.
  4. For the Repository Pull action, ensure that the following are set:
    • Source site: McAfeeHttp
    • Package types: All packages
  5. Click Save to save the task.
  6. For the Update Master Repository server task, click Run.

Manually Update Mcafee Endpoint Security

The Master Repository now includes the AMCore Content Package package and Endpoint Security Exploit Prevention Content package required by Endpoint Security.
