Included is a baseline version of the Universal C Runtime see MSDN for details. X86: vcredist.x86.exe x64: vcredist.x64.exe ARM64: vcredist.arm64.exe. Jan 01, 2018 Windows 7, Windows Server 2003 R2 x64 editions, Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2, Windows Vista Service Pack 2, Windows XP Service Pack 3. - Apr 09, 2019 After upgrading to 64 bit version of windows 10,I get this message everytime I launch a game 0xc000007b.I searched for 4 damn days for a solution and finally found the best solution here.Most of the websites don’t mention about downloading “BOTH 32 bit and 64 bit VERSIONS” OF Microsoft Visual C Redistributable packages(ALL VERSIONS) ON A 64 bit system.But here I found it.Now the games.
- Known file sizes on Windows 10/8/7/XP are 7,194,312 bytes (33% of all occurrences), 453,984 bytes or 7,157,496 bytes. There is no file information. The vcredistx64.exe file is digitally signed. The vcredistx64.exe file is not a Windows system file. The program has no visible window.

If uninstalling VC++ 2017 then restarting won't allow installing 2015 then you may need to uninstall all Visual C++ Redistibutables, run a Disk Check, and then reinstall them in order: http://steamcommunity.com/app/211820/discussion..

I tried uninstalling Visual C++ 2017 (x64) and got this message
I also tried uninstalling the (x86) and it says Setup Successful but its not disappearing

I copied and pasted the User source and it led me to a folder that contains what the installer wants. It does this for both installing and uninstalling this.

Just to make sure we're on the same page, we're talking about installing this package right? If so, I run the downloaded file and I click install, then it gives me the same exact error.

The Visual C++ Redistributable Packages 64 bit install run-time components of Visual C++ libraries. These components are required to run C++ applications that are developed using Visual Studio and link dynamically to Visual C++ libraries. These package can be used to run such applications on a computer even if it does not have Visual Studio installed. These packages install run-time components of these libraries: C Runtime (CRT), Standard C++, MFC, C++ AMP, and OpenMP.
For example, installing the Visual C++ 2019 redistributable will affect programs built with Visual C++ 2015 and 2017 also. However, installing the Visual C++ 2015 redistributable will not replace the newer versions of the files installed by the Visual C++ 2017 and 2019 redistributables.
This is different from all previous Visual C++ versions, as they each had their own distinct runtime files, not shared with other versions.
